BED weather

Yes, It's definitely BED weather...It's rainy season here in our country and lot's of storms coming up.

It's been a week now since it's raining. I miss Mr. Sun already though I love bonding with my bed nowadays. =)

I so love chocolates. I can't live without them. It's like a drug to me. Not a day pass that I don't get to eat one...or else, I'll tremble! Lol!

My aunts from US had their 3 week vacation here last month. My aunt Cathy knows that I'm addicted to chocolates so it's a must for her to send me some of the finest chocolates in US. Sosyal ang tita ko noh...Lol!

Some Organic truffle chocolates...

Godivas! These truffle bars are sinful!

I love malt chocolates! Aside from Malteasers, I also like these...

sad... =(

I know it's been more than a month that I stopped from blogging (again). I've been pre-occupied lately and one major reason also for not updating my blog is that i lost my domain. My "Live it Up... (iamjean.com)" got expired and I forgot to renew it. My bad I know. It's just sad on my part because now that I realized that I want to go back in blogging again, GoDaddy got my domain and gave me a hard time retrieving it which will cost me like $100 to get it back. I seek for my friend's help (Eds) coz I don't know much anything about websites, domains or web hosting. Sad...really sad. What's surprising is that GoDaddy said that if ever I want to retrieve it, I have to wait for 75 days for my domain to be available in the market again. Hell no! When I checked my blog (coz I miss my blog, lol), it has an owner already! A foreign owner which I don't understand any words of it in his/her blog! Double sad on my part. Good thing, my friend, Eds is cheering me up. Giving me hope that I can blog again and get another domain. She said she'll going to help me and a friend of hers rebuild another blog for me. Thanks to people like them. Definitely, I'm not gonna use Blogger and GoDaddy anymore. I'm going to let someone host my blog and will use Wordpress since I heard alot of positive feed backs about it. =)

When we went to Bangkok two years ago, we visited a one stop jewelry shop. Why one stop shop? It's like a factory of jewelry. In one of their rooms, you will see a raw gemstone which has still some gravel on top of it and you go to the next room, you'll see a gemstone being polished and then when you go to a different room, you'll see a polished gemstone being placed in a gold or white gold metal which afterwards turn into a beautiful jewelry. Some jewels can pass already as diamonds international . Then on the last room, that's where they inspect all the finished products before putting them on the display room for customers to view.

Raw red rubies and blue sapphires

Here's what they look like when they're polished already...

I just held a Php20,000 awhile ago and now, it's gone just within 5 minutes. Magic? Not! I paid my HSBC credit card because I got over my credit limit and I need to pay like half of my credit balance. Phew! Thanks to my mom who lent me money. Now, I'm officially broke. =(

I've got a new work schedule. I love late night grave yard shifts. From 10pm, 11pm to 12am. My new schedule is 9pm and I find it too early. I need to wake up at 7pm. Take a shower, pick clothes from the closet, iron it then speed up my way to Clark. That's pretty easy. =)

Aside from my new schedule, I have a new team to handle now. Before, my team and I were in a dedicated account, meaning, my reps are just taking calls for one account. And now, my team is under "shared" accounts. So that means, multi-tasking for my reps. They are answering calls from like 10-15 different accounts. Sounds hard? Not really. We are experiencing less stress and less pressure now from our bosses. It's different when you are handling one account only. One account equals stress and pressure.

Got to sleep early, I need a lot of energy tonight. =)

Jumpshots...

My friends decided that we'll have our dinner in a nearby restaurant in our village 3 weeks ago. Our friend Reggie is bringing her DLSR and we decided that after we eat, we'll have our picture taken by her. She said, we do some jumpshots. Hmmm, I don't think that's a good idea huh? LoL! Of course, for fun, we did it. We were so full that we can't jump that high anymore. LoL!

Spasso

One fine Saturday night, my friends and I celebrated Erica's birthday in an Italian restaurant names Spasso. Spasso is an Italian word meaning an act of receiving pleasure from something. It's more described like the feeling of pleasure felt when having a good time.

We ordered a lot that we can't finish the food anymore. Imagine, we ordered 5 panizzas, 2 kinds of pastas and 2 salads plus our delicious Basil iced tea which tasted like green guava juice. I forgot to take a picture already with our food coz we're hungry as wolves at taht time. LoL!

Zulu

Our friend, Jenny, celebrated her very advance birthday dinner with us last night. Why very advance? It's because our friend, Rhona, is going back to USA this coming Tuesday and Erica, our other friend will be having their family vacation in US also come June 26. When exactly is our friend, Jenny's birthday? June 28! So we decided that we do it in advance so that we still can go out, all together of us.

We went to Zulu, it's a coffee and tea restaurant but they serve good food too. Their Thai food is great. We ordered a lot of food. I forgot to take a picture some of the food because we're hungry already. lol!

The gang complete

Some of the food we ordered.

I'm ready...I'll be meeting some of my friends tonight. We'll be celebrating one of our friend's birthday.

Have fun people! =)

What to take...

My cousin just graduated from high school and he's still thinking what bs degree to take. He's thinking of getting a diploma online which is not bad after all because he said he wants to work so that he can buy his own car. I told him to check some respected online bs degree so that he'll have an idea what to take. I asked him to check some affordable and low tuition school too so that he can help his mom with his schooling.

I'm so excited for him. I wish him luck and success!

New Home soon!

This is my Aunt Caren's model house. The are currently having their dream house constructed. It's quite big I tell you because when I was still with them, I saw the floor plan and the house floor is 600 square meters! And by November, it will be all done and ready to live in it. We are all excited to see their new nest by December.

Check out the living room, I like the color combination. The kitchen is so nice. My Aunt loves cooking and I'm sure she'll be delighted once she sees the kitchen. I bet she requested for a stainless steel sink to her house builder/contractor.

The top picture is the master's bedroom. I like the wall paper! And the bottom pic of course, is the master's bathroom.

Here's the house under construction 2 months ago. I'm sure, now, it's almost 50% up.

I just had my warts removal an hour ago in our company clinic. We are lucky because our company insurance covers it up for us. I am sure you know how important it is to find the right healthcare coverage. Whether you are enrolling in a healthcare or Medicare part D plan for the first time or are reconsidering your current Medicare plan, your chosen health insurance must be beneficial to you.

I am a sickly person, that's why I made sure I have a back up insurance aside from our company insurance. There's nothing wrong with having another one. One thing I am looking for in my insurance company is, the health insurance works with you to understand your specific situation, including your healthcare requirements, doctors you see, prescriptions you take and your financial situation.

Mother's Day

Before I check some golf clubs and which golf gps to use, let me tell you what we did last Mother's day. I know this is so late but I want to document it here in my blog.

I am with my grandma in this pic. The little one is Diane, she's the daughter of my grandma's maid. She's like a family member to us already.

That day, my Uncle Jolly treated us with an all-you-can-eat lunch at Party Land. We took advantage of the food as if there's no tomorrow. Lol!

my mom and my grandma

Check how full our plates are! We had a great family time that day! =)

Lighthouse

When my aunts and I went to the Great Ocean Road, we passed by a huge light house which is like a steel building.

A lighthouse is a tower or a building, designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses or, in older times, from a fire, and used as an aid to navigation for pilots at sea or on inland waterways.

Lighthouses are used to mark dangerous coastlines, hazardous shoals and reefs and safe entries to harbors, and can also assist in aerial navigation. Once widely used, the number of operational lighthouses has declined due to the expense of maintenance and replacement by modern electronic navigational aids.

So since we are on our way to one of the most spectacular coastlines in the whole world, this light house sits on top of a hill to serve its purpose...to navigate.
