Yesterday and Today...

After three weeks of vacation in my call center life, finally, I went to work last night. For the benefit of the others, I did not go anywhere...I got sick, hospitalized.

First night again of my graveyard shift. 7pm til 5am. I did not work...yet. What I did is to read and erased just some of my three thousand plus emails in my mail's inbox. Imagine, as soon as I entered our office, I saw my computer full of dust as well as some of my things! I called the janitor on duty and asked him to immediately clean my place as well as the rugs in my area and disinfect it. I think our company just used cheap rugs because the rug's designs faded easily. My gawd, I can't work with such kind of dirt around me, specially now that I just got Bronchial asthma. Good thing, I am bringing my alcohol. Call me OC but I literally showered my terminal alcohol. I just did that to disinfect more my office place.

After our office hours, my friend, Vina and I went to one of our officemate's father's wake. His dad died due to heart attack. The area rugs in the funeral parlor were nice. I think the rug is an Oriental rug. It's like the one my aunt has. Oriental rugs have long been appreciated for their beauty. That beauty is achieved in these rugs through the choice of colors and designs, as well as by the manipulation of designs and colors to form pleasing patterns. Patterns in these rugs are never quite what you expect - a surprise here, a flourish there, a change of color, the flip or rotation of a design where you might not predict it. The more you look, the more variations you will find in Oriental Rugs.

Since some of our friends too came at our friend's father's wake, we decided to have a brunch in one of the restaurants at the metro. We mostly had baked macaroni as that is one of the restaurant's specialties. We chatted and chatted because this is one of the rarest times that we are all together...though we are just in one company, we have different accounts.

Later on, I'll go to my doctor and have a follow up check up again...this time is for my enlarged liver. I'm hoping for a positive result. Though I saw on my blood chem test result already that my cholesterol is a little bit high. Gotta slow down with fatty foods again......
