Chinese watermelon seed opener.

Yesterday at the hospital, I was wondering what my mom is doing. She was clicking something in her hands. I asked her what she's doing, she replied "I'm eating butong pakwan". Puzzled, I asked her how she eats Chinese watermelon seed or butong pakwan without seeing her opening the seed. Then she showed me a plastic thing and she said it's somewhat like a nut cracker but this one's intended for seeds.

    Now that's one neat little gadget. I remember being told when I was younger that opening those butong pakwan seeds will damage my teeth. Not sure if that's true or not but I tried to stay away from them if I could.

    naku... my MIL has one of those things pero I don't enjoy using it, mas napapabagal lang ako :D but it does save our teeth from all the cracking though...
