Renewed at last!

After how many attempts of trying to have my passport renewed last week, I finally did it! If it wasn't for my Tita Cathy, I forgot that my passport has expired already.

After work, I immediately went to DFA and I was so lucky because I am the last person for this day to have my passport renewed. They're just catering up to 500 applicants a day and believe it or not, I am applicant number 500! Whew! So close! The bad part is, regular releasing of passport will take one month, while rush is 7 working days. I had my passport expedited (paid extra for that, of course) because my Tita Cathy's gonna be booking us already for our HK-Macau vacation this coming February. The earlier the booking, the cheaper the airfare, right? Oh, I also paid extra P100 for my passport to be shipped directly to our house rather than me going back again to DFA. This of course is courtesy of LBC.

    you're so lucky! it took me six months before I got my passport. I used an agency and they always asked me to prepare something that I don't really need. You won't believe if I say that they also asked me to pay P10,000 beside from the P1,200 for fee. And the most terrible thing? I found out that they already had my passport when I tried to pull it out and told them that I would make it by myself.
    Rotten people! (sorry sis, i always get angry when I think of them) hehehe...

    Wow! good to hear that you got the last slot for the day, at least sumabit ka at no neeed to be back the following day.

    just one of your lucky day sis, nice.. i was going to renew my passport next year 6 months before it gets expired,, we'll going to NY,NY just to process the whole thing.. hay... its really really terrible because i got here last june then by next year my passport will get expire, it would be much cheaper in PI than here,
