Death March it is.
The only difference is that we did not march at all but we rode a van, traveled where the Death March started and ended. Believe me, from the former US airbase in Subic, we went to Mt. Samat in Bataan then to Tarlac where the march ended. It was a tiring day even if we are just sitting in the closed van. Who wouldn't get tired of a loooooong drive? Every time we ask the driver if we are near Mt. Samat already, the only answer we get is 30 minutes more. Half na hour has passed, we ask again, 30 minutes more. Ayayay! My butt is in pain already!
We walked along the wharf at former US Airbase in Subic with Uncle Henry, Aunt Cathy, Tito Rene, Tito Romy, Tita Caren & Tito Litos
When we reached Mt.Samat, we went to see the big cross what they call Dambana ng Kagitingan.
