Have you seen a Yellow watermelon? It's not that they're rare fruits but I guess we're just used in seeing and eating the red one.
When I went to my Lola's house last Sunday before heading to ABS-CBN to watch ASAP '09 live (yes, we did watch because of my lola!), I saw my tita and lola munching on something. I thought it was the regular melon fruit. I was wrong...it was a Lamallorca (La-mal-yor-ca) or what they call Yellow Watermelon.
I asked my aunt why they bought the yellow one instead of the red one. She said she wats an seedless one and the red ones at the fruitstore are not seedless. I prefer the red ones because they are more sweeter however the yellow ones are more watery or juicy.

I think I must have seen yello watermelon somewhere but didn't really pay attention to it, sabi mo nga nasanay tayo sa pula lol... anyway sa pic parang mangga.
